Opening of Europe's longest Flow Country Trail in Bad Kleinkirchheim

As of Friday, July 19, 2019, two thirds open, around 11.3 kilometers from Europe's longest Flow Country Trail.
From the Kaiserburgbahn mountain station to Unterwirt Hüttn. With the opening weekend there are 3 sections of the trail with a length of just under 11.3 kilometers. Section 4 - from Unterwirt Hüttn to the Kaiserburg valley station - and the approximately 1,000 m² bike park at the Kaiserburg valley station, consisting of a practice course, pump track & practice flow trails are currently still under construction. Approval for use will be given after construction progress and successively until the end of August / beginning of September 2019.
Until section 4 is completed, it is possible to continue from Unterwirt Hüttn to the valley via the forest road, which also functions as an approved mountain bike route (route 09, 11).

The mountain bike route, packed in panorama, starts at the Kaiserburg mountain station and winds with an average gradient of 8 percent to the Kaiserburg valley station. Around 968 meters of altitude are overcome. The route, fixed with gravel and equipped with scooters, small drops and individual steep curves, should be fun for everyone. Depending on the ability, the biker determines his acceleration by approaching the individual steep curves independently. Beginners keep their bikes on the ground. More experienced people can help themselves to the adrenaline rush with proper cornering speed and inclined position.
Combination of Flow Country Trail & nature trails
The mountain bike range in Bad Kleinkirchheim is characterized by its versatility. The existing nature trails line up along the new Flow Country Trail. Clearly marked exit points provide access to legalized blue, red or black trails in the middle of the Carinthian Nockberge Mountains. These run along the ridges and ends in the refreshing water of the Brennsee lake in the municipality of Feld am See.
